The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with a focus on both residential and commercial spaces. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness. Execute floor care procedures such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained. Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene. Assist with residential painting tasks as needed to enhance the appearance of facilities. Carry out custodial duties in commercial settings, including offices and retail spaces. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment. Support facilities maintenance by identifying and reporting any repairs or maintenance issues. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all areas are clean and well-kept. Experience Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Skills in floor care practices, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.. Experience in facilities maintenance or porter services will be considered beneficial.
