Full-Time / Part-Time About Us Bahama Bay Lodging Co manages a portfolio of vacation rental condos at Bahama Bay Resort & Spa, a Caribbean-themed lakefront resort community in Davenport, Florida. Our guests travel from around the world to enjoy Central Florida's attractions, and a spotless, welcoming unit is the first impression of every stay. Our housekeeping team makes that happen. Position Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest condo units to brand standards between stays, including full turnovers, deep cleans, and mid-stay refreshes. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and pride in presentation — every unit should be guest-ready, photo-ready, and inspection-ready. Key Responsibilities Perform full turnover cleans of condo units between guest stays: bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, balconies/patios, and entryways Strip, launder (or stage for laundering), and remake beds with fresh linens; replace towels and bath amenities to set standards Clean and sanitize kitchens, including dishes, appliances (inside and out), counters, sinks, and cabinet fronts; restock starter supplies Clean and disinfect bathrooms: showers/tubs, toilets, vanities, mirrors, and floors Dust, vacuum, mop, and remove trash throughout the unit; clean interior windows, sliders, and screens as needed Stage units per checklist: furniture placement, décor, blinds, thermostat settings, welcome items, and final presentation Report maintenance issues, damage, missing inventory, or suspected policy violations promptly through the work order / ticketing system with photos Complete departure inspections and photo documentation as assigned Perform scheduled deep cleans (baseboards, vents, under furniture, patio furniture, appliance interiors) Manage cleaning supplies and linen inventory in assigned units or storage areas; communicate restocking needs Handle guest belongings and lost-and-found items per company procedure Coordinate with maintenance, guest services, and inspectors to keep units rent-ready and on schedule Follow all safety guidelines, chemical handling procedures, and resort/HOA rules Qualifications Required Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (vacation rentals, hotels/resorts, or residential cleaning a plus) — we will train the right candidate Strong attention to detail and consistent quality under turnover deadlines Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple units per day Comfortable using a smartphone for schedules, checklists, photos, and communication Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Physical Requirements Able to lift, push/pull housekeeping carts, climb stairs, bend, kneel, and remain on your feet for extended periods Comfortable working in Florida heat and humidity Availability on weekends and holidays (peak turnover days) Preferred Experience with vacation rental operations software Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Compensation & Benefits Pay:
