We are looking for a dependable, trustworthy, and organized part-time housekeeper to help maintain our private residence in the Lakeland, FL 33813 area. (south lakeland) and looking for someone that does not live to far, this is for a Private Residence This position is for one private residence only. You will not be traveling to different homes or working as part of a cleaning crew. We are looking for someone long-term who can become familiar with our home and help keep everything clean, organized, and running smoothly throughout the week.

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday Approximately 4 hours per day / 20 hours per week Start time will be around 9:00-10:00 AM and you will normally be finished around 1:00-2:00 PM. PAY $16.00 per hour This is a payroll position and you will be paid every Friday.

EXPERIENCE

Prior professional housekeeping or residential cleaning experience is preferred. More important to us is finding someone who is dependable, works efficiently, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in keeping a home clean and organized.

RESPONSIBILITIES

General household cleaning Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping Dusting and wiping down surfaces Laundry - washing, drying, folding, and putting clothes away Changing bed linens Dishes and general kitchen cleanup Keeping bedrooms and common areas picked up General home organization Taking out household trash Cleaning up everyday household messes and food spills Rotating deeper cleaning tasks throughout the week Helping organize different areas of the home over time

ABOUT THE HOME

The home is approximately 4,000 sq. ft. and two stories. We have children in the home, including two teenagers, so this is an active household. The house currently needs some additional organization. We are not expecting someone to organize the entire house immediately. The goal is to gradually work through different areas of the home, get things organized, and then maintain that organization going forward. Because this is a Monday-Friday position, we are not expecting the entire 4,000 sq. ft. house to be cleaned from top to bottom every day. Everyday cleaning, laundry, dishes, picking up, and other routine tasks will be handled as needed, while bathrooms, floors, bedrooms, dusting, deeper cleaning, and organization can be rotated throughout the week.
