Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of various commercial facilities, ensuring an inviting environment for clients and staff alike. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across multiple commercial spaces, including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Execute specialized floor cleaning procedures such as scrubbing, buffing, waxing, polishing, and refinishing to maintain optimal floor appearance and durability. Handle cleaning chemicals and floor cleaning agents safely, adhering to environmental and safety regulations. Operate various cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, polishers, carpet cleaners, and floor burnishers to deliver pristine results. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of equipment or supplies while following proper ergonomic practices. Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly vacuuming carpets, cleaning windows, dusting surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during cleaning routines. Experience Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing is highly desirable. Experience handling chemical agents safely and knowledge of environmental services best practices. Ability to operate cleaning machinery including carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and burnishers effectively. Strong manual handling skills with the capacity for heavy lifting required for equipment setup or moving supplies. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles demonstrating attention to detail and reliability is advantageous.
