Job Summary:

The Housekeeper is responsible to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for both our residents and our employees. Keep up with the cleaning demands of residents' apartments and common areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for keeping apartments/facility clean within set guidelines.
• Clean and prepare vacant apartments for use.
• Ensure all apartments are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as needed.
• Pick up solid linen from designated areas several times daily and process into clean; which includes washing, drying and folding. Deliver clean linen to designated areas.
• Make residents beds and change linens as required.
• Clean apartment bathrooms - toilet, mirrors, tubs and showers according to standards.
• Clean restrooms daily and keep stocked with supplies.
• Able to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate resident's needs.
• Respect the individuality, privacy and rights of residents and co-workers, including the right to file a complaint.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Keeps all housekeeping storage facilities in a clean, organized manner.
• Adhere to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.
• Wear name tag while on duty. Report to work on time and in proper uniform.
• Required to handle biohazard waste.
• Must be able to prioritize and work quickly and effectively without compromising quality.
• Will be required to work your scheduled shift during a hurricane. We are a 24/7 working facility.
• Cell phone usage is prohibited during work hours.
• Must complete all assigned Training Today on a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director.
