We're looking for a Housekeeper to join our Housekeeping team and help maintain a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment for our residents. In this role, you'll play an important part in keeping residential areas, Health Center rooms, dining areas, and common spaces clean and well-maintained. What You'll Do Clean assigned residential units, resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas , including stairwells. Thoroughly clean and sanitize Health Center rooms after move-outs and before new residents move in. Keep dining areas clean and sanitized at least twice daily . Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming . Remove garbage from assigned areas and follow proper procedures for biohazard materials handled by the contracted vendor. Bring or send resident-use protectors to the laundry area after each meal. Provide cleaning services for independent residents as contracted. Follow all applicable workplace policies, standards, and safety guidelines. Help create a clean, comfortable environment for residents every day.

What We're Looking For Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. Up to 1 month of related experience or training .

Preferred:

Experience working with older adults in a healthcare setting . Ideally, 6 months or more of related experience . Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to regularly perform activities such as: Standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and stooping. Pushing and pulling cleaning equipment. Grasping and performing manual-dexterity tasks. Lifting up to 40 lbs. Working in both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
