Job Description

As a Housekeeper at Marriott, you'll ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe, and inviting. Responsibilities include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing linens and amenities, and reporting maintenance needs. You will follow brand standards, health and safety guidelines, and use cleaning equipment and chemicals properly. Working within a supportive, people-first culture, you'll collaborate with the housekeeping team to deliver warm, attentive service and create memorable stays for guests across Marriott's diverse portfolio of hotels. Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms and bathrooms to Marriott brand standards Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum guest rooms and corridors Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces and fixtures Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards Handle guest requests promptly and courteously Follow cleaning schedules and room assignment sheets Use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely Adhere to health, safety, and infection-control procedures Work collaboratively with housekeeping and front office teams Required Skills Room cleaning and sanitization Use of housekeeping tools and equipment (vacuums, carts, etc.) Safe chemical handling and dilution Laundry and linen handling Time management and task prioritization Basic record-keeping on room status Understanding of safety and infection-control procedures Basic customer service and guest interaction Inspection and quality control of cleaned rooms Following written schedules and checklists
