Our skilled nursing facility Stuart Rehabilitation and Healthcare is currently recruiting Housekeeping/Laundry Aides to perform daily housekeeping duties to include common area cleaning, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, general room cleaning. Laundry duties to include picking up and delivering laundry, sorting/washing/folding laundry. As a valued member of our team, you will help create a safe, comfortable, and pleasant living environment for our residents while supporting the daily housekeeping and laundry needs of our facility.

Responsibilities:

Clean resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident linens and personal laundry Maintain housekeeping and laundry equipment in a clean and safe condition Follow infection control and safety procedures Assist with facility cleanliness and presentation standards Report maintenance, safety, or resident concerns to supervisors

Qualifications:

MUST be able to pass a level II background check Experience working as part of a housekeeping/laundry department in a hospital or nursing home setting. Must be able to follow directions and communicate effectively in English. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Able to operate industrial washer and dryers, labeling and dispensing machines. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and accustomed to working as part of a team to accomplish the goals of the department. Must be able to comply with a work schedule that includes every other weekend. Preferred Skilled Nursing Facility experience Reliable attendance and a positive attitude Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry laundry and housekeeping supplies This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
