Hinckley Yachts is seeking a highly organized, professional, and customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our regional Sales Directors in the marketing and sale of new and pre-owned Hinckley yachts. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with high-net-worth clients, and can successfully balance administrative, sales support, marketing, and event planning responsibilities. As Sales Directors often travel extensively, the Sales Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring seamless office operations and consistent client support. This is a full-time position that includes occasional evening and weekend responsibilities for boat shows, customer events, and industry functions.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and vendors Answer and direct incoming phone calls Maintain office equipment, supplies, and inventory Order and organize marketing materials, literature, and stationery Coordinate shipping and receiving needs Manage and organize incoming communications and emails Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations Sales & Marketing Support Research and identify qualified sales prospects Conduct lead follow-up through phone, email, and direct mail campaigns Maintain accurate records and reporting within Salesforce CRM Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity reports Support Sales Directors with travel arrangements, expense reports, and client communications Coordinate regional marketing initiatives with the corporate marketing team Assist with website updates and email marketing campaigns Create and manage mailing lists using internal databases and external sources Support the marketing and promotion of brokerage and pre-owned vessel listings Event Planning & Execution Coordinate client events, boat shows, and sales presentations Work with marinas, yacht clubs, vendors, and caterers to plan successful events Negotiate contracts and logistics for lodging, catering, and event services Prepare promotional materials and event collateral Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown Support sales efforts during events by greeting guests and qualifying prospects Maintain and organize photo libraries for marketing, advertising, and customer presentations Process Improvement Contribute to the development and implementation of sales best practices, policies, and procedures Assist in maintaining and updating the Sales Handbook Professional Attributes Friendly, personable, and customer-focused Professional, courteous, and highly ethical Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment Positive team player who takes pride in supporting the success of others Comfortable interacting with affluent and discerning clientele Requirements Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Salesforce CRM experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Reliable transportation Professional appearance and demeanor
