Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and stairwells by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Assist with the replenishment of supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure comfort and convenience for guests. Support housekeeping staff by transporting linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment efficiently throughout the property. Perform routine floor care including vacuuming carpets and buffing hard floors to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed to ensure uninterrupted service. Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness or amenities with a friendly and professional attitude. Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation standards, and industrial cleaning methods. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively. Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards. Experience in housekeeping management or supervising janitorial staff is a plus but not required. A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed.
