Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, instructions, and complete simple documentation. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a hospitality, healthcare, or residential setting. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safe handling and usage. Certification in housekeeping or cleaning safety standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces in assigned areas. Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces to maintain health and safety standards. Change linens, make beds, and restock toiletries and cleaning supplies as needed. Dispose of trash and recycling materials in accordance with facility guidelines. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or requested.
