Housekeeper Hampton Inn & Suites Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and an understanding of the importance of cleanliness in hospitality settings. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial or custodial positions; hotel experience is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. A background in hospitality is advantageous; understanding guest needs is essential for this role. Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required during cleaning tasks. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
