Rome, GA, 30165 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a long term care facility in Rome, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. Key Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds. Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles. Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines specific to long term care facilities. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and clothing. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy and dignity of all residents. Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a long term care or healthcare setting. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper use, and safety precautions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to handle physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Work Environment This position requires working in a healthcare environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and potential biohazards. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be used as required.
