Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols. Manage heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or supplies to ensure efficient room turnover. Follow hotel emergency procedures and sanitation guidelines to uphold safety and hygiene standards at all times. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly. Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest requests or inquiries related to housekeeping services. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial roles with a focus on sanitation and floor care. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, vacuuming, floor cleaning, and chemical handling. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and janitorial best practices within hospitality settings. Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for everyone.
