Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Room Attendant to join our hospitality team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment. Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, sinks, tubs, and toilets with proper sanitation procedures. Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, and stairwells through sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and pressure washing when necessary. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to health and safety standards; utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Conduct window cleaning and floor care to uphold high standards of presentation throughout the property. Assist with custodial tasks such as waste removal, sanitation checks, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed diligently. Qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, pressure washing, floor care, and chemical handling. Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or furniture safely. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members. Experience with cleaning equipment operation and maintenance is desirable. Understanding of infection control procedures and sanitation standards required in hospitality environments. Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks efficiently.
