Discounts at all Kinseth Hotel Corporation hotels and restaurants SUMMARY Keeps premises of hotel and restaurant in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Cleans and polishes hotel lighting fixtures, metalwork, marble surfaces, walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, sills and trim; sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor, vacuums rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies; dusts furniture and equipment.
Cleans hotel entryways, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, break rooms, offices and other work areas. May clean guest rooms, restaurant, bar, and banquet space as required.
Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays, transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Replenishes supplies in restrooms and delivers linen to each floor of hotel.
Replaces light bulbs.
Assists housekeepers with stripping and removing dirty linen from guest rooms and replenishing linen in housekeeping closets and on carts. May assist in making beds to brand specifications.
May assist with cleaning of the parking lot area.
May assist with guest related items including but not limited to baggage handling and transporting guests.
Delivers messages and requested supplies to guestrooms in a friendly and courteous manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assists in security of the property including guests, employees, equipment and vehicles.
Assists hotel front desk in delivering guest items (pillow, blankets, roll-aways, etc.) and providing guest support.
KHC POLICIES
Responsible for following all KHC policies and procedures as set forth in the KHC handbook and property specific guidelines/standards. These policies include dress code, safety and performance standards. Employees must also maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. All employees must follow proper safety precautions at all times to avoid injuries. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
