We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Airbnb Turnover Specialist / Lead Housekeeper to clean and prepare multiple short-term rental apartments in downtown Dubuque. You will work directly with the owner and receive paid training on our cleaning and inspection standards. The work includes cleaning apartments after guest checkout, making beds, completing laundry, restocking supplies, and ensuring every unit is fully prepared before the next guest arrives. This position begins part-time but can grow into additional hours, higher pay, and an Operations Assistant role for someone who consistently demonstrates excellent work, dependability, and leadership ability. Responsibilities Clean and prepare Airbnb apartments between guest stays Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas Strip beds and replace sheets and pillowcases Vacuum, mop, dust, and clean all required surfaces Wash, dry, fold, and organize sheets and towels Restock toiletries, paper products, towels, coffee, and other guest supplies Follow detailed cleaning and inspection checklists Inspect apartments for cleanliness, damage, missing items, and maintenance concerns Report problems or unusual conditions directly to the owner Keep laundry rooms, storage areas, and cleaning supplies organized Complete turnovers efficiently while maintaining consistent quality Help train or inspect the work of other cleaners as the position develops Qualifications Previous professional cleaning, Airbnb, hotel housekeeping, or similar experience is preferred Reliable, punctual, and able to arrive as scheduled Strong attention to detail Able to work independently after training Comfortable performing physical and repetitive work Able to lift and carry laundry, supplies, and cleaning equipment Able to climb stairs and work in multiple apartments Comfortable using common household cleaning products safely Able to follow written instructions and detailed checklists Good communication and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation to downtown Dubuque is required Daytime and weekend availability is required Schedule Part-time with the opportunity for additional hours Primarily daytime work between guest checkout and check-in No night shifts Weekend availability is required Hours and working days may vary depending on guest reservations Pay Starting pay: $18.00 per hour Opportunity for a pay increase based on reliability, consistent quality, and the ability to work independently Additional pay and responsibilities available as the position grows
