Melrose Meadows is a Retirement Community with Independent and Assisted Living apartments. Under direct supervision of the Executive Director, performs housekeeping and laundry duties required for the general maintenance of resident apartments and all common areas of the building. Job Responsibilities and Duties 1. Performs cleaning in all areas of the building. 2. Cleans all floor areas by appropriate method: vacuuming, shampooing, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and waxing. 3. Cleans and polishes all bathroom fixtures. 4. Cleans and washes all glass surfaces, ceilings, and walls. The use of a step ladder may be required. 5. Replaces light bulbs and cleans light fixtures in tenant apartments, using a step ladder as required. 6. Reports breakage and needed repairs. 7. Collects trash from receptacles throughout the building and empties it into 8. Performs duties in the immediate exterior of the building such as cleaning the entrance designated collection bin, doors and exterior windows. 9. Delivers housekeeping supplies to designated areas. 10. Maintains neat and organized Housekeeping Closets. 11. Housekeepers will be responsible for laundering Food Service linens, Tenant Assistant Living linens, and staff uniforms which are the property of Melrose Meadows.
