Job Description

The Dry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary surface environment which includes all dry areas, restrooms, showers, lamp room, halls, offices, lunchrooms, removal and disposal of trash. Responsibilities include, tracking and ordering in a timely manner all cleaning supplies and equipment. The duties of the dry attendant encompass a wide range of responsibilities which include a clean safe work environment for all mine personnel, subcontractors and visitors. Work Experience Requirements Detail-oriented Knowledge and competence of cleaning chemicals Reliable and trustworthy Knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations and MSDS. Multi-task Ability to complete tasks/projects within time allotted Confidentiality is of utmost importance for this position Use of PPE while on job is mandatory Education Requirements High school diploma or GED 18 years old or older
