We are looking for a laundry attendant to join our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

a) Maintain and operate all laundry equipment in accordance with established procedures. b) Sort linens for proper load size and material compatibility. c) Inspect all linens and ensure they are free from stains and tears prior to washing. Pre-treat stains accordingly. Set torn linens aside for further determination. d) Load and unload washers and dryers. Fold linens in accordance with established procedures. e) Transport clean linens to appropriate storage areas. f) Clean lint screens daily. g) Refill cleaning and laundry chemicals as necessary. h) Clean exterior of machines daily. Sweep and mop laundry floor daily. Clean entire laundry area daily. j) Stock linen rooms daily. k) Clean and mop employee break room and bathroom. l) Clean and mop bathrooms and common areas. n) Deliver any guest needs or requests to guestrooms. o) Report equipment malfunctions to Maintenance Department immediately. p) Maintain inventory of supplies. q) Responsible for cleaning guestrooms during peak periods of if there is insufficient staff, or as directed by the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Head Housekeeper. r) Must wear proper uniform, including nametag.
