The Lodge of Northbrook is recruiting for a hospitality focused Housekeeping Associate to join our team! This position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community.

$17.50/hour

Part-time 20-25 hours/week Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a
Housekeeper:
Consistently uphold Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and organization. Perform daily housekeeping duties throughout common areas, including lobbies, hallways, lounges, dining areas, restrooms, activity spaces, offices, and other designated areas. Clean and maintain guest suites and other designated rooms as needed. Perform routine dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and trash removal. Perform laundry functions, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and other designated items. Follow all Community policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-prevention practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred/required. Three to six months of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, or a related environment preferred. Previous experience working in a senior living or healthcare setting is a plus. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established cleaning procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team.
