Eagle's View Supportive Living and Memory Care Rantoul, IL Full-Time Housekeeper/Janitor Daytime hours; every other weekend availability required About the
Role:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Janitor to join our team at Eagle's View Supportive Living and Memory Care. The primary goal of this role is to ensure our community remains clean, safe, and comfortable for our residents, staff, and visitors. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces, while upholding high standards of sanitation and organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a senior living community Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain all common areas, including hallways, restrooms, and dining areas Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained Report maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate personnel Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs as needed Provide friendly and respectful customer service to residents and their families Skills for
