Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care. Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools efficiently and safely. Conduct outdoor work as needed for patio or yard cleaning to maintain overall property appearance. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, supplies, or equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs and preferences to deliver personalized service. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and any maintenance issues encountered during shifts. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health standards while managing time efficiently to complete tasks promptly. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; residential housekeeping experience is highly valued. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as floors, carpets, tiles, and countertops using various cleaning agents and tools. Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet extraction methods. Experience with laundry processes including sorting, washing with appropriate detergents, drying, folding, and storage. Ability to perform outdoor work involving yard or patio cleaning is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
