We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Hotel Houseperson who takes pride in keeping a property clean, organized, and welcoming. This is a hands-on position for someone who notices what needs to be done and takes care of it without needing constant direction. The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel's public areas, guest hallways, exterior grounds, and back-of-house areas , while also supporting the Housekeeping team. Schedule & Hours This position is approximately 5-6 hours per day . We have some flexibility with the schedule, but our preferred shifts are approximately: 10:00 AM

• 4:00 PM or 11:00 AM
• 5:00 PM There is an opportunity for additional hours for someone interested in learning how to clean guest rooms.

If you would like additional hours, you can be trained as a Room Attendant as well. Responsibilities Maintain clean, fresh-smelling, and presentable guest hallways and common areas Sweep and vacuum hallways and stairwells Keep elevators, exit doors, glass, and other surfaces free of fingerprints and smudges Maintain and regularly check public restrooms Keep the fitness center clean and guest-ready Maintain the pool area when open Keep the patio clean, organized, and welcoming Keep the basketball court and surrounding area clean and maintained Walk the exterior of the hotel and remove trash, cigarette butts, and debris Empty and replace trash at all hotel exits Remove trash from the breakfast area once breakfast service is complete Maintain pet waste stations, including refilling dog waste bags and replacing trash liners daily Keep the dumpster area clean and ensure trash is placed inside the dumpster and not left on the ground Keep the Houseperson closet clean, stocked, and organized Maintain the employee break room and remove old food from the refrigerator at the end of each week Strip checked-out guest rooms after guests depart to assist Room Attendants with turning rooms Assist Housekeeping with linen, trash, supplies, and other duties as needed What We're Looking For The right person for this position is reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently . We need someone who takes pride in the appearance of the property and understands that the small details matter. Our hallways should smell fresh, outdoor areas should be clean, elevators and doors should be fingerprint-free, and public spaces should always be welcoming to our guests. This position requires being on your feet throughout the shift and includes frequent walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, using stairs, and working both indoors and outdoors. Hotel or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Work Environment and Context Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, and weekends. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing and pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 20 pounds and use of cleaning chemicals.
