Overnight, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Position Summary The Overnight Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to hotel standards during the overnight shift of 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This position ensures rooms are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, stocked, and ready for arriving guests while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean assigned guest rooms according to hotel brand standards. Make beds and replace linens and towels. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, mirrors, and sinks. Dust and wipe all furniture, surfaces, and fixtures. Vacuum carpets and mop hard-surface flooring as needed. Clean kitchenettes and appliances, including microwaves, stovetops, refrigerators, and sinks. Replenish guest room amenities and supplies. Remove trash and used linens from guest rooms. Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report concerns promptly. Ensure rooms are guest-ready and meet cleanliness and presentation standards. Maintain housekeeping carts and keep cleaning supplies organized. Follow all safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment. Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently during overnight hours. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and standards. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance. Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment. Work Environment Indoor hotel guest room environment. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment. Overnight, weekend, and holiday availability may be required. Performance Expectations Consistently meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards.
