We're hiring a Housekeeper to join our hospitality team and help deliver the spotless, welcoming guest rooms that turn first-time visitors into loyal return guests. Housekeeper Responsibilities Guest Room & Public Area Cleaning Clean and service guest rooms to IHG/Hotel Indigo brand standards Make beds, change linens, and refresh towels, bedding, and amenities Deep-clean bathrooms — sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, mirrors, and floors Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop assigned guest rooms and common areas Restock linens, toiletries, and guest supplies Perform a final quality inspection before marking rooms guest-ready Maintain spotless hallways, elevators, lobbies, and public spaces Follow proper chemical handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Hotel Operations Support Track and report room status, maintenance needs, and supply inventory Handle lost-and-found items per hotel procedure Communicate room readiness and issues to the front desk and management Follow key control and security procedures for guest room access Keep housekeeping carts, supply closets, and equipment clean and organized Assist with laundry — washing, drying, folding, and stocking linens Support deep-cleaning projects, turnover cleans, and seasonal initiatives Teamwork Partner with Front Desk, Maintenance, and Laundry staff to keep hotel operations running smoothly Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or guest concerns immediately Represent A&R Hospitality's culture, mission, and values on every shift Housekeeper Qualifications Prior housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or hotel cleaning experience preferred but not required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active work environment Sharp attention to detail and genuine pride in cleanliness Strong work ethic — able to work independently and as part of a team Schedule flexibility, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout your shift Dependability, professionalism, and discretion Solid communication and time-management skills Bonus Points For Previous hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or guest-services experience Familiarity with commercial cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment A Day in the Life of Our Housekeeper Team You'll work in a lively hotel setting with regular guest interaction, hands-on cleaning duties, and a pace that rewards speed and consistency.
