Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation across residential spaces. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards in all areas. Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely while ensuring proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, and specialized floor care techniques. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning tools are properly maintained and stored. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service. Assist with outdoor work as needed to keep exterior areas tidy and presentable. Follow time management practices to complete tasks promptly while maintaining quality standards. Support housekeeping management by adhering to schedules and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Experience Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred; familiarity with janitorial procedures is a plus. Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, floor buffers, and pressure washers. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and surface-specific cleaning techniques. Experience with manual handling of heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or large items safely. Outdoor work experience that includes maintaining outdoor spaces or exterior surfaces is advantageous. Strong client communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
