Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning as needed Assist with laundry duties such as linen changeovers and sorting Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure availability of amenities Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored safely Support other housekeeping staff with special projects or deep cleaning tasks during less busy times Follow safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial procedures to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred; hotel experience or custodial experience is a plus Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good physical stamina with the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to custodial work and industrial cleaning practices Prior experience in housekeeping management is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
