Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your dedication to cleanliness and attention to detail will create welcoming, pristine environments for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and comfort across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas following established protocols. Handle chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and industrial cleaning standards to ensure a secure working environment. Perform manual handling tasks such as making beds, moving furniture, and restocking supplies with proper ergonomic techniques. Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance. Manage hotel housekeeping operations efficiently, including inventory control of cleaning supplies and linens. Respond promptly to guest requests or special cleaning instructions to ensure a positive experience. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to guarantee safety during incidents or unforeseen events. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles, with knowledge of janitorial and industrial cleaning practices. Familiarity with cleaning techniques using various chemical agents and handling SDS documentation responsibly. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely on a daily basis. Strong understanding of floor care methods including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Experience managing hotel housekeeping operations or supervising housekeeping staff is a plus. Knowledge of hospitality standards and hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$22.02 - $26.52 per hour
