Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and janitorial duties using appropriate cleaning equipment. Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling chemical agents in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols. Assist in the cleaning of public areas like lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to ensure a pristine environment for guests. Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary, ensuring safety and security for both guests and staff. Lift heavy cleaning supplies or equipment safely during manual handling tasks while adhering to safety guidelines. Support hotel housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation practices. Expertise in floor cleaning techniques and floor care maintenance to preserve the quality of various flooring types. Proficiency in using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners efficiently and safely. Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure safe use of cleaning agents. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members alike. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with precision. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and hospitality standards to support a secure environment.
