Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by executing routine cleaning tasks efficiently Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment Use janitorial equipment such as vacuums, mops, buffers, and scrubbers to deliver high-quality floor care and sanitation standards Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety protocols Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns to ensure guest and staff safety Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques Expertise in floor cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining compliance with safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols Strong manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving supplies or furniture efficiently and safely Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and janitorial best practices Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures to respond effectively during urgent situations This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in fast-paced environments.
