Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, surface cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and common areas. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure effective sanitation while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to preserve their appearance and longevity. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or supplies safely and efficiently. Implement cleaning procedures that meet sanitation standards for residential environments, ensuring hygiene is prioritized at all times. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs, provide updates on cleaning progress, and address any special requests or concerns. Manage time effectively to complete all assigned duties within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards. Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly. Experience Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of janitorial and custodial practices. Familiarity with various cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and steam cleaners. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces including wood, tile, glass, upholstery, and carpets along with proper use of cleaning agents. Experience in implementing cleaning and sanitation procedures in both indoor and outdoor settings. Ability to handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout shifts. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their preferences and needs. Prior experience managing housekeeping tasks independently or within a team environment is preferred but not mandatory.
