Job Description
We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team and contribute to the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel rooms. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive guest experience through impeccable room presentation and cleanliness. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities Clean and tidy guest rooms and common areas according to established hotel standards Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and public spaces Ensure the proper use and care of cleaning equipment and supplies Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms to the appropriate department Collaborate with front desk and maintenance staff to coordinate guest requests and room turnovers Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests Follow health and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals Uphold privacy and security standards for guests and their belongings Assist in deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed Requirements and Skills Previous experience as a Hotel Housekeeper or in a similar role is advantageous Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment Ability to work independently and efficiently Excellent time management and organizational skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Initiative to identify and address cleaning needs proactively Commitment to maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for guests
