Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces to ensure spotless environments. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards in all areas. Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and using appropriate cleaning equipment for different surfaces. Manage janitorial supplies by utilizing cleaning detergents safely and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines. Conduct outdoor work as needed, such as patio or balcony cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance. Communicate professionally with residents or clients regarding their cleaning preferences or special requests while ensuring timely completion of tasks. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other custodial tools. Follow manual handling protocols when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injuries. Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory checks and maintaining cleanliness logs. Experience Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as countertops, bathroom fixtures, windows, and appliances. Experience with floor cleaning techniques including carpet care and outdoor surface maintenance. Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning detergents and disinfectants. Hands-on experience with janitorial or custodial tasks in hospitality or residential settings is preferred. Ability to manage time effectively to complete multiple tasks within scheduled periods. Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or patios.
