Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols to ensure a safe environment Conduct floor care activities including vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and heavy lifting of furniture or equipment as needed Maintain cleanliness of carpets, tiles, and other surfaces through industrial cleaning methods Assist with custodial tasks such as waste removal, replenishing supplies, and ensuring sanitation standards are met consistently Operate cleaning equipment efficiently while following hotel housekeeping management procedures Support emergency procedures by understanding hotel protocols and ensuring safety during incidents or hazardous situations Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a hospitality or commercial setting preferred Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and industry standards for sanitation and cleanliness Experience with industrial cleaning tools and chemical agents handling required for safe operations Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols including SDS comprehension Strong customer service skills to interact positively with guests and team members Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently Proven track record in hospitality environments with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction Join us in creating memorable stays by ensuring every corner of our hotel shines!
