Brightwell Home Cleaning is building a small team of experienced residential cleaners to serve homes in Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Woods, Harper Woods, and St. Clair Shores. We are not a rotating pool. When you take a home, that home is yours — the same family, the same routine, every visit. We are hiring 3 independent contractors now, and we will keep hiring as we grow. About Brightwell Brightwell is a locally owned residential cleaning company serving Michigan's east-side lakefront communities. We work with busy homeowners and families on weekly and biweekly recurring cleanings. Our whole promise to clients is "it's done right, and you never have to chase anyone" — which means we are far more interested in cleaners who are consistent and communicative than cleaners who are fast. We handle the marketing, the booking, the client phone calls, the billing, and the complaints. You handle the cleaning. That's the deal. What this looks like in six months If this goes well, you'll have a stable route of recurring homes in a tight geographic corridor, clients who know your name and ask for you specifically, and predictable weekly income you can plan around. You'll know each home's quirks — which dog hides, which counter gets the streaks, which family wants the guest bath done first. That familiarity is exactly what we're selling, and it's why we pay above the local market rate to keep good people. What you'll do Clean assigned homes to our written room-by-room checklist — kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, floors Arrive inside your scheduled window and text us when you're on the way and when you're finished Take before-and-after photos of each job and send them through before you leave Flag anything the homeowner should know about — a leak, a stain that won't lift, something broken before you arrived Handle keys, lockbox codes, and alarm codes according to our written custody policy Bring your own supplies, equipment, and reliable transportation to each job What we're looking for

Required:

1+ year of paid professional cleaning experience (residential preferred) A reliable vehicle and a valid Michigan driver's license — our homes are spread across the Pointes and St. Clair Shores, and there's no transit that works for this A smartphone you can text photos and updates from Your own cleaning supplies and equipment, including a vacuum Your own general liability insurance, or willingness to obtain a policy before your first paid job — we'll show you where to get one, and it's typically [$40-60]/month Ability to pass a criminal background check Legal authorization to work in the United States Comfortable working alone in a client's home (If needed), unsupervised, and being trusted with their keys

Preferred:

Experience with recurring residential clients rather than one-time or commercial work Available on weekday mornings — that's when most of our clients want us Living in or near Grosse Pointe, Harper Woods, St. Clair Shores, Eastpointe, or Roseville You do NOT need a college degree, a professional certification, or experience with any particular software. If you clean well and you show up, we want to talk to you. Pay and terms This is an independent contractor (1099) position, not employment. You are in business for yourself and you set your own schedule and rates of work. You are paid 45% of the price of every job you complete . On our typical homes, that works out to roughly $25-$30 per hour of actual cleaning time. Paid weekly, every Friday . No waiting two weeks, no chasing invoices.

Referral bonus:

[$100] for every cleaner you refer who passes their trial clean and completes [10] jobs. Client tips go 100% to you. We never take a cut. Paid trial clean. Your first job with us is a real, paid job — we do not ask anyone to work for free. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, supplies, and transportation, and you will not receive employee benefits.
