Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Must be flexible,reliable and available weekends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments at our Bed & Breakfast. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service through cleanliness and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Change sheets on beds and make the bed properly. Ensure that all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care as needed to maintain appearance and safety. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and concerns in a friendly manner. Follow established housekeeping procedures and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and guests. Experience in custodial work or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. Knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques for various surfaces. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results in all cleaning tasks. Experience in residential cleaning or carpet cleaning is beneficial. Ability to show up on time on all days needed to work.
