Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitation of all surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by executing routine cleaning tasks efficiently. Use industrial cleaning tools and equipment to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation are met consistently. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or cleaning supplies while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns. Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay. Requirements Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards, sanitation practices, and hotel emergency procedures is advantageous. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly by understanding SDS guidelines and chemical handling protocols. Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple areas. Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset to ensure guest satisfaction. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other industrial tools used in hospitality environments is beneficial.
