The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a commitment to high standards of Hilton Clean Stay and hygiene, along with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This position is required to work Saturdays and Sundays. There is opportunity to crosstrain in other departments. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure a pristine environment. Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as needed. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain an inviting atmosphere. Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate techniques for various surfaces. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist in laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork are highly valued.
