Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning to ensure a pristine environment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene across all areas. Operate cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools safely and effectively. Manage floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning to keep floors looking their best. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and supplies while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and chemical use. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs, provide updates on completed tasks, and address any special requests or concerns. Prioritize tasks using effective time management skills to complete all duties within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards. Experience Previous experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles is preferred; familiarity with janitorial procedures is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely during tasks such as moving furniture or large items. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, dusting techniques, and sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygienic environments. Outdoor work experience is advantageous for handling exterior cleaning tasks effectively Such as window cleanings.
