Hotel Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant (Part-Time Only) Best Western Big Spring Lodge Part-Time Position | Hotel Experience & Pre-Employment Screening Strictly Required At Best Western Big Spring Lodge, we believe a clean, comfortable room can make all the difference in a guest's stay. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking, and positive team member who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a welcoming environment for our guests. This is a hands-on, part-time position that includes both housekeeping and laundry responsibilities. What You'll Do Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms. Process hotel linens , including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and distributing towels and bedding. Maintain public areas to keep them clean and presentable, including hallways, lobby areas, and guest facilities. Restock amenities , linens, and housekeeping carts/supplies. Report maintenance concerns , damaged items, and lost-and-found articles immediately. Follow all safety , sanitation, and hotel procedures. Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to ensure guests receive an exceptional experience.

Strict Hiring Requirements Hotel Experience:

Minimum 1 year of verifiable hotel housekeeping experience is strictly required . Residential or general commercial cleaning will not qualify.

Background Check:

Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check.

Drug Screening:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

References:

Professional references from previous hotel employers must be provided and will be verified.

Availability:

Seeking candidates strictly looking for part-time employment .

Physical Ability:

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 pounds.

Stamina:

Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical labor throughout the entire shift.

Reliability:

Reliable transportation and a proven record of dependable attendance.
