The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Previous experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Hotel Housekeeper plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning as needed Handle laundry duties for linens and towels in accordance with hotel standards Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as assigned by management Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work is highly desirable Experience with floor care techniques including carpet extraction and polishing is a plus Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is beneficial Background in hospitality or housecleaning management can be advantageous Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive guest experience through exceptional cleanliness and service.
