Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with proper care. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Safely handle chemical agents used for cleaning and sanitation by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and using personal protective equipment (PPE). Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and steam cleaners to ensure optimal floor care across all areas. Assist with janitorial tasks related to industrial cleaning and custodial responsibilities to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures and emergency protocols to ensure guest safety and operational efficiency at all times. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable; familiarity with hotel emergency procedures is a plus. Demonstrated ability in floor cleaning techniques including the use of various cleaning equipment for industrial or janitorial purposes. Knowledge of chemical handling practices to ensure safe use of cleaning agents while maintaining sanitation standards. Experience in hospitality environments that require heavy lifting, manual handling, and attention to detail in sanitation practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems or similar organizational tools is advantageous.
