Job Overview Camp Don Lee is seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team, committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our camp settings. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and spotless environment by performing a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently and with attention to detail. Your positive attitude and strong work ethic will ensure our guests feel welcomed and safe while on-site. Camp operates year round with school field trips and retreats in the spring, winter and fall and Summer Camp from June- Aug. Hours will vary based on the number of groups on site and how busy each week or weekend is, additional hours available with our maitenance team if capable. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of cabins, bath houses and buildings; including sweeping, mopping, and surface wiping to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures meticulously across all areas, including bathrooms, bunkrooms and common spaces. Use appropriate cleaning equipment safely and effectively for floor care and surface sanitation. Work cooperatively with our Maitenance Coordinator and team for any special projects beyond the "turn-over" of a space or spaces between groups visiting camp Communicate professionally and effectively with all other staff when assistance is needed Have a freindly and hospitible behavior when speaking with guests of any age Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Proven experience in residential housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong focus on cleaning and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, and surface sanitation. Knowledge or ability to learn of cleaning detergents and supplies along with proper handling and storage practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently during routine housekeeping duties. Previous outdoor work experience is a plus, we are a camp and not all of our building are air conditioned or heated Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail throughout each shift.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 32.0 per week
