Laundry Attendant

REPORTS TO

Housekeeping Supervisorand Assistant We are in search of motivated Room Attendants/Housekeepers to join GF Hotels & Resorts and be responsible for the successful operations needed for a hotel. Come join the brand new, modern Hyatt Place Asheville Airport scheduled to open October 2026. You must be proficient at assisting the ongoing operations of the hotel. This role will be assisting the management team and your fellow associates in creating and maintain a positive, proactive and reactive culture in the hotel.

BASIC PURPOSE

Process soiled linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers. 2. Process sorted linen utilizing the washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders ensuring finished product is inspected and meets quality standards. 3. Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition. 4. Notify supervisor of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, damaged linens, to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level.

Education:

No formal education needed.

Experience:

Prior laundry experience desirable.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to speak in language understood by guests and co-workers. Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.

Hours Required:

8 hours per shift; scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
