The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment for various surfaces and materials. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing. Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established housekeeping protocols and standards to ensure highquality service. Assist in housekeeping management tasks as needed to support team efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests with professionalism and maintaining noise control in guest areas when possible. Separate washing and drying equipment, load and unload laundry from machines. Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications. Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor. Empty the laundry chute and prepare loads for washer. Presort and separate linen by classification and transfer by lifting, carrying or transporting to workstations. Run folding equipment to fold mats, blankets, towels, bedspreads, etc. Separate out laundry requiring mending or special stain removal. Clean empty hampers. Set the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen. Clean up machines and surrounding areas. Stock linen room with cleaned product. Requirements Previous experience in industrial cleaning, custodial services, or hospitality is preferred. Knowledge of effective cleaning methods and floor care techniques. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service in a hotel or similar environment.
