Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items Handle manual lifting of supplies, furniture, or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and detergents; notify management when supplies need replenishing Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and address any concerns promptly Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly using appropriate detergents and methods; pay special attention to high-touch areas for sanitation Follow established janitorial and custodial procedures to uphold cleanliness standards in all assigned areas Manage time efficiently to complete daily tasks within designated schedules while maintaining high-quality results Qualifications Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, and surface sanitation Familiarity with cleaning equipment and detergents; ability to operate machinery safely and effectively Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work comfortably throughout shifts Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously Good communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations Prior experience in hospitality or janitorial roles is a plus but not mandatory Join us as a Housekeeping Attendant where your dedication will help create clean, safe environments that leave lasting positive impressions.
