Job Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. This role plays a critical part in delivering the quality and comfort that guests expect from Hilton Garden Inn.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Room Cleaning:

Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to Hilton brand standards. Make beds, change linens, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean bathrooms. Replenish amenities such as towels, toiletries, and beverages. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage in guest rooms.

Public Area Maintenance:

Clean hallways, elevators, lobby areas, and other public spaces as assigned. Empty trash and linen collection bins regularly. Maintain housekeeping carts and closets in a clean and organized manner.

Guest Service:

Greet guests with a friendly attitude when encountered in hallways. Respond to guest requests for extra items (e.g., towels, pillows) in a timely and professional manner. Report lost and found items to the supervisor according to hotel policy.

Compliance & Safety:

Follow proper chemical handling and cleaning procedures. Adhere to all health and safety protocols. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting preferred but not required.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good time management and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and push/pull housekeeping carts for extended periods. Able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Uniform provided or required according to Hilton Garden Inn standards. Work environment includes exposure to cleaning chemicals and various physical demands.
