Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeper/Banquet Server, where your energy and attention to detail will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this multifaceted role, you will ensure the cleanliness and impeccable presentation of our event spaces while delivering exceptional food and beverage service during banquets and special events. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, combined with your culinary knowledge and guest-focused attitude, will help foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in banquet halls, guest rooms, and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, linen changes, and surface sanitization. Set up banquet spaces according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and tableware to ensure a polished presentation. Serve food and beverages confidently during banquets and events, including taking orders, delivering dishes promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff in delivering quality culinary experiences. Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries professionally, managing guest relations with a friendly demeanor, and ensuring all needs are met promptly. Buss tables efficiently during events by clearing used dishes and maintaining a tidy dining environment to enhance guest comfort. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for beverage sales or event transactions accurately while adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality setting is highly desirable; experience with catering or banquet service is a plus. Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols, beverage service, wine knowledge, and fine dining standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive guest relations and handle diverse guest needs professionally. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing inventory or supplies effectively. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary experience that supports efficient service delivery. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days; physical stamina for standing long periods; attention to detail; teamwork-oriented mindset.
