Job Description

Heart of the House Hospitality is hiring a full-time Houseperson (Beach Attendant) to support a beachfront property in Long Branch, NJ. This role keeps the beach, pool, and outdoor guest areas clean, organized, and guest-ready every day, all year long. Benefits of Working with Heart of the House include: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(k) plan with company match Health, dental and vision insurance Flexible PTO What you'll do: Set up and break down beach chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas each day Keep the beach, boardwalk, and pool deck areas clean and free of debris Deliver, arrange, and collect towels and beach equipment for guests Greet guests with a warm, helpful attitude and answer questions about beach services Restock supplies and report any equipment needing repair or replacement Empty trash receptacles and maintain a tidy, safe outdoor environment Assist other departments with housekeeping and general property upkeep as needed Follow all safety procedures, including sun and heat safety guidelines What you bring: Ability to work outdoors in all weather, including sun, heat, and wind Comfortable lifting and carrying beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, coolers) Reliable and punctual, with availability to work weekends and holidays A friendly, guest-first attitude Must have prior hospitality, housekeeping, or beach club experience Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
